At Healthy Solutions Medspa, we’re proud to offer the latest in body contouring technologies to help you achieve your aesthetic goals.
Two of our most popular treatments, CoolSculpting and CoolTone, are designed to sculpt and tone your body, but they work in different ways to address these different concerns.
In this blog, we’ll break down the differences between CoolSculpting and CoolTone, so you can decide which treatment is right for you.
What is CoolSculpting?
CoolSculpting is a non-invasive fat reduction treatment that uses controlled cooling to freeze and eliminate stubborn fat cells. It’s an FDA-cleared procedure that targets areas where diet and exercise alone have not been effective. CoolSculpting is ideal for treating areas such as:
- Abdomen
- Flanks (love handles)
- Thighs
- Upper arms
- Back
- Double chin
How Does CoolSculpting Work?
CoolSculpting works by applying a cooling applicator to the targeted area.
The cold temperature freezes and destroys fat cells, which are then naturally eliminated by your body over the following weeks.
The result is a noticeable reduction in fat and a more sculpted appearance.
What is CoolTone?
CoolTone is a non-invasive muscle toning treatment that uses Magnetic Muscle Stimulation (MMS) to strengthen and tone muscles. Unlike CoolSculpting, which targets fat cells, CoolTone focuses on enhancing muscle definition. This treatment is ideal for areas such as:
- Abdomen
- Buttocks
- Thighs
How Does CoolTone Work?
CoolTone uses electromagnetic pulses to induce powerful muscle contractions.
These contractions are much more intense than what you can achieve through regular exercise, leading to stronger, firmer muscles.
Each session typically lasts around 30 minutes, and multiple sessions are recommended for the best results.
Coolsculpting or CoolTone? Which is Best For Me?
Choosing between CoolSculpting and CoolTone depends on your individual goals.
If you’re looking to reduce stubborn fat and achieve a slimmer silhouette, CoolSculpting may be the right choice for you.
If you want to enhance muscle definition and achieve a toned, athletic appearance, CoolTone is the way to go.
For many patients, combining both treatments can provide comprehensive body contouring results.
CoolSculpting can reduce fat in problem areas, while CoolTone can build and define the underlying muscles, leading to a more sculpted and toned physique.
