What Can Cause a Gummy Smile?

How to treat your gummy smile with Botox
Gummy smiles are treated with BOTOX® in between your upper lip and nose. This takes the muscle in your smile and freezes it to relax your smile to not show your gums. The gummy smile correction treatment with BOTOX® is not permanent and can last three to four months until another treatment can be done.
How Many Units of Botox Would I Need?
Gummy smiles are usually treated with a small amount of BOTOX®. Only 4 to 8 units are typically needed to treat a gummy smile with Botox and the price for the treatment can range from $140-$180.
Could I enhance my gummy smile even more?
Another option to combat gummy smiles is to add filler to the lips along with BOTOX®. This creates more volume in the lips, and further enhances your lips and smile.
